Shipping time, exchange and return

How long does it take from the time I order until you send the goods?

We do our best to send items we have in stock within 1-3 days after the order has been completed, from there Bring takes the package with it. You will receive the tracking number in the order confirmation when the goods have been packed and can be followed all the way to your local post office.

Can I track my order?

The tracking number will be sent to your email together with the order confirmation as soon as we have packed and completed your order, so that you can track your package right up to delivery.

It says "Package to delivery location" on shipping options, what does this mean?

This means that the package is delivered to your nearest post office in store.

I have ordered an equipment package and have received everything except the harpoon and lead. Why?

Harpoon and lead are sometimes sent separately, and Bring sorts out long and heavy packages. Therefore, these can arrive 1-2 days later than the main package.

How do I return a package to Frivannsliv?

It is easy. Click here to register your return. We will then send you a return label by email, which you can print out and attach to your return. This gives you free shipping on the return.

Can I return goods I have used at sea?

We let all our customers try out all the equipment at home in the shower, before making a decision and taking the equipment into the sea. This way you can check that the size of the suit, socks, gloves and flippers is correct.

If the item has been in salt water, the right to exchange is forfeited. Therefore, always test new equipment at home.

I damaged the suit when trying it on at home. Can I still change the size?

We are known for good service and offer to help if customers return equipment they have been unfortunate enough to damage during testing at home. As we cannot sell these items as new, you must expect a fee for trade-ins. Send us an email with photos of the damage and we will contact you.

Can I exchange products in an equipment package?

In our equipment packages, we provide a complete freediving package with everything you might need. The products included in this package are discounted to the maximum, to give all customers the opportunity to shop from the top shelf.

The products in the package are locked and unfortunately cannot be changed. If you want to make your own equipment package with a suggested price of over NOK 8,000, this will be a self-composed package for which we give a 10% total discount in total.

Do you have a physical store or just an online store?

We have a physical store at Mjåtveitflaten 55, 5918 Frekhaug. 30 min drive north of Bergen.

At the bottom of each newsletter you will see a text box that says "unsubscribe". Press it and you will stop the mail subscription.

Where do you ship the goods from?

All our products are shipped from our warehouse in Frekhaug, 30 minutes north of Bergen. If something is a made-to-order item, it will first arrive in our warehouse and then be forwarded to the customer.

Where can I register for a course or webinar?

You can easily do that via our course calendar here .

I have registered for a course, when will I receive more information?

In the week before the course weekend, you will receive an email with detailed information regarding the meeting place, daily schedule, etc. The reason for this is that we must ensure the quality of the premises, pool and diving site.

Can I borrow/rent equipment I need for the course?

Yes you'll get that. Day courses and weekend courses have a rent of NOK 500 for course equipment. This equipment package contains everything you need. You will receive detailed information about where you can pick up the equipment package before the course.

Do I get a CMAS certificate after completing the course and what if I want a 3 star cmas?

All our courses provide thorough theory and practice in practice to have freediving as a safe hobby. On our weekend courses, you can get a cmas certificate from the Norwegian Diving Association included in the course. This is not an offer for day courses. There is no requirement for a certificate to practice freediving in Norway.

If you want an extended 3-star CMAS certificate during the course, you communicate this directly to the instructor when you receive detailed information about the course. This is only relevant for those who have mastered freediving to a large extent and have a desire to become an instructor.

How is a weekend course set up?

This course gives you a basic introduction to what you need to know to master freediving in a safe and motivating way. The course includes theory teaching, pool exercises and sea diving.

The instructors send all the necessary information about attendance, time etc. in advance of the course.

On day one of the course, theory lessons and pool exercises or sea diving are carried out. This normally takes place between 09.00 and 20.00. On day two there will be sea diving. You will receive additional information about attendance and more after registration.
