Return an item?

You simply register your return on our return portal. Here you can find your orders and easily choose which items you want to return or exchange.

We normally have a 30-day right to exchange our products, but from Friday 01/11-2023 we extend the right to exchange until 31 January 2024 so that you can safely shop for your Christmas presents at Frivannsliv.

Right of exchange - fit guarantee

Does the equipment not fit?
Then we will exchange free of charge as long as you state your measurements when ordering: Weight, height and shoe number.

As a customer of Frivannsliv, you are guaranteed a safe and good transaction. We go to great lengths to ensure that you get the equipment that suits you best, and that gives you great experiences! If something doesn't fit, or lives up to expectations, it's easy to exchange or return. We let all our customers try out all the equipment at home in the shower, before making a decision and taking the equipment into the sea.
This way you can check that the size of the suit, socks, gloves and flippers is correct. If you want to use our right of exchange / fit guarantee, you must state your weight/height/shoe number when ordering so that we can check your sizes before we send out goods. There is no right of exchange for ordered goods or products that have been used at sea.

Remember that we have a 30-day right of exchange from the date you have received your goods.

Masks should be tried underwater, preferably in a pool or bathtub, but you don't know exactly how well the mask fits until you have dived with it. By trying in the shower first, you usually do not risk damage and wear. If any of the equipment or goods do not fit, or do not live up to expectations, you can exchange or return the goods.

NB: Items that have been used cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you have bought your first freediving suit or equipment package, it is important to read and watch the video on this page.

If you return a wetsuit with nail marks after testing, you will be invoiced an excess of NOK 500. Therefore, be very careful how you take the suit on and off if you are unsure of the size.

NB: When suits are returned it is very important that the suit is not pressed in a box, then compression damage occurs which cannot be repaired and a fee will be sent afterwards.

When returning goods in accordance with an exchange or complaint, we ask you to fill in this return portal

When we have received and processed the submitted form, you will be sent a return slip which you can use to return the item(s). Also attach a note with your name and possibly order number to the box for faster processing.

Right of withdrawal

As a customer, you have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of receiving the item(s).

If you wish to make use of the right of cancellation, you as the customer cover shipping costs for the return and will be reimbursed for the purchased goods as well as shipping for sending the goods as soon as we have received the return. Remember to print out the email thread with the confirmation of the cancellation period. The right of withdrawal only applies to unused goods delivered in their original packaging.

Return of e-waste

We can take your e-waste with us in connection with the delivery of a new product. The service is a quick and easy alternative for those who do not want to take the electrical waste to recycling themselves.

Special adaptation of suits

Frivannsliv now offers customization of wetsuits. Although the vast majority of our customers are very satisfied with our softest wetsuits that mold well to the body, it happens that some customers want a suit that fits their body measurements even better. This is most relevant for those who have strong deviations from "normal" proportions. On request, we can be helpful in rebuilding your suit, as long as it was purchased from us. We can also assist with the repair and modification of other freediving equipment on request. We have the best capacity for this between October and April. In order to be able to offer you to use Klarna's payment methods, we have to share certain information about you with Klarna. This only happens if you choose Klarna as the payment method. Klarna uses the information to assess whether you qualify to use their payment methods. The information used is name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, payment history as well as order information such as payment method, shipping type, order details and the like.

The use of such information is regulated in accordance with applicable privacy legislation and Klarna's privacy policy.
