MAC Microsub PT knife

Microsub PT is a small but very good knife from Italian MAC . The knife itself is 14.5 cm long in total and has a blade of only 6 cm. The large handle still gives you a very good grip on the knife, even with neoprene gloves and the design is somewhat reminiscent of typical rescue knives.

The Microsub PT diving knife is superb as a safety knife or back up (fits nicely in a dry suit pocket or BCD) for all other types of diving and snorkelling in general. Because of. the size and sheath type also make the knife suitable for professional divers in professional diving and rescue. The knife blade has been blunted so that it is not so easy to cut yourself, and the diving knife itself is intended more for safety than for killing fish etc.

Not least a handsome knife for boating, kayaking and general activities near water. Because of. its size, it can also be used as a so-called "neck knife", i.e. a knife that hangs in a loop as pure safety on trips or in the open air. You never know when you might need a sharp knife!

Comes in the colors visible yellow or blue, and a knife with a black handle is also available as an item to order.

The knife blade itself is made of stainless steel of the type 4116, which is normally found in good kitchen knives. The knife is in well-known MAC quality with a hardness in the steel of 55-56HRC. Solid and simple sheath (weighs 26 grams) in synthetic plastic (ABS) with a number of attachment methods. This can be attached with both knife straps, bungee cords or Velcro straps on either leg or arm. The knife blade has a thickness of 3.8 mm and the knife weighs only 55 grams (!)

Elastic and comfortable Velcro strap that fits better on the suit and is more comfortable than rubber knife straps. The strap is easily threaded through the sheath of most knives on the market.
