Hyper-compressed neoprene and a classic on the diving market!

3.5mm thick neoprene, which is compressed. This results in a much softer, thinner and more flexible neoprene drysuit. Since the neoprene is so compressed, the material will not "squeeze" against the body, even down to 30m ++

You still have good insulation and heat. Nobody does compressed neoprene like JUST. That is for sure!

BARE CD4 Pro Dry is a widely sold suit on the market in Norway and one of BARE's longest-lived suit variants, although it has come in more upgraded versions over the years. A reliable, robust, warm dry suit with good insulation that is popular with professional divers, the armed forces, salmon counting, farming and all forms of sport diving. Especially widely used as a school uniform at diving centers precisely because it can withstand a lot, is warm and is a reasonable alternative.

With its soft upgraded neoprene, it is more comfortable to wear than lack similar wetsuits. Not least in relation to fit. Now also with a solid YKK plastic zip as standard, the suit is also more streamlined without a stiff metal zip sticking out from the back.

Features and characteristics

  • BARE CD4 Pro Dry is made with BARE's exclusive NST (No Stitch Technology), namely it has no sewn seams. Instead, you have seams that are double-glued and treated with heat tape. More solid, less seams that disintegrate over time and more reliable.
  • 3.5mm thick and warm neoprene with "Diamond Tuff" nylon on the outside for extra durability.
  • 4-way stretch in neoprene provides good mobility and fit.
  • 2mm smootskin/nylon neoprene in the neck for extra warmth. This is located outside the neck seal and also provides a perfect seal with a dry suit hood.
  • Low profile YKK plastic zip over the back with light weight. No stiff metal zipper weighing down the back and sticking out. It is also entirely possible to have the suits delivered with various metal zippers, if that is preferred.
  • Pre-installed fasteners for suspenders (purchased separately).
  • Extra durable kevlar knee pads. These can also be ordered extra long, or it is possible to get kevlar padding in other areas such as shoulders, arms, inner thighs, etc.
  • Supplied in a total of 16 men's sizes, as well as the possibility of adaptations and full Made to Measure tailoring.
  • The dry suit includes a low-pressure hose, suit bag, dry suit shoes (rubber), manual, zip wax and talcum powder.
Alternatives

Various dry suit shoes are available, everything from soft Tech boots in neoprene (with rubberized sole), soft boots, to solid rubber shoes with steel toes. The suits can also be supplied with CEJN nipples, hoses or Apeks valves rather than Si Tech which is standard. Different ring systems can also be pre-installed at the factory, as can different pockets (knife pockets, large tech pockets with d-ring++). Cuffs can be supplied in silicone, latex or neoprene.

The dry suit hood must be purchased separately, but a fixed hood in latex or neoprene in various thicknesses and colors can be ordered with the suit.

As a warmer alternative, there is also the BARE D8 Pro Dry , which was specially developed for professional divers who work inshore and are down in shallow water for long periods of time. The working iron BARE D6 Pro Dry is also a popular choice.
