Discover diving

Are you going to immediately take your first breaths underwater? or are you an experienced technical diver with many hundreds of trimix dives? Perhaps you are a professional diver and looking for your next dry suit or new wetsuit?

Diving can be an exciting hobby with frequent visits to war wrecks as a wreck diver, hunting dive, photo dive or a full-time job with varied everyday life. Regardless of which category you are in, our sales department and service department are ready to help. With 24,000 km, the Norwegian coast is one of the longest in the world, these 24,000 km are packed with fantastic natural experiences and unforgettable adventures. If you are interested in trap diving, Norway is one of the few remaining countries where it is still allowed to catch with air on your back. If you are interested in maritime history, the same coastline can offer hundreds of diveable wrecks.

We have a wide selection of dry suits for all purposes from major recognized brands such as Bare and Foruth Element.

Dry suit

We have a wide selection of dry suits for all purposes from major recognized brands such as Bare and Foruth Element. If you need a neoprene suit or a shell suit, we have several good options and a large warehouse outside Bergen. Our service department is ready to change cuffs, change zips, install ring systems with a short waiting time.

BCD - Vest

Just like a good backpack, the BCD's fit is important to relieve the back as best as possible on land and give you stability underwater and enough buoyancy to float comfortably on the surface. We have vests, wing vests, wing systems and side mounts from Hollis and Zeagle so no matter which configuration you like best, we have the equipment to meet your needs.

Gloves and hood

Even in late summer, it is relatively cool in the depths, which means that we have to insulate ourselves well from the cold. Choose wet gloves between 2.5mm - 7mm, 3-finger or 5-finger. Alternatively, you can use dry gloves either cuff to cuff or mounted on a ring system. The head is one of the places where we have the highest heat loss, this makes it very important that you have a hood with the right thickness and fit. The hood should fit tightly but comfortably. If you want an all-year hood, 7mm is a good thickness, but if you want a warm winter hood, 9mm, preferably with an ice hood in addition, is the right solution.

Most diving masks can be used for normal recreational diving.

Diving mask

Most diving masks can be used for normal recreational diving. What may still be a good idea to test is the following:
• Can you get a good grip on the nose so you can balance on the way down?
• Is the mask pulled in towards the face when you breathe in with your nose so that you are sure that it is tight?
• Is there enough distance from the forehead to the mask frame so that there is no unpleasant pressure on the forehead when the mask is used?

If this list is "crossed" and you also know that the mask has tempered glass and comfortable silicone, you have found "the right one".

Full face masks

Some divers use full masks either because of the need for communication, surface-supplied gas, or simply because they want better protection against, among other things, jellyfish, here we have a good selection of masks from American OTS that are suitable for both recreational and professional use.

Snorkel

The snorkel is a tool for scuba divers that is better to have but not need than to need but not have. We therefore recommend flexible foldable snorkels for divers. This fits in the pocket of a BCD or dry suit and is ready for use when you need it. See our wide selection of snorkels here

Webbed feet

Drysuit divers with full winter clothing in cold water place higher demands on their flippers than the diver enjoying themselves on the Maldives in warm water. The reason for this is that you push a larger mass through the water column and therefore need more power. We have a wide range of fins perfect for travel from Oceanic and we have rubber fins from Hollis and Zeagle which are better suited in cold water with heavier equipment.

Breathing valves come in a couple of different designs and which one suits you best is defined by the area of use you envision.

Breather valve

Breathing valves come in a couple of different designs and which one suits you best is defined by the area of use you envision. If you dive once in a while and the equipment tends to be stored for a longer period, we recommend membrane valves from Hollis or Zeagle. If you dive about weekly and preferably deep with a double set, piston valves from Atomic are an investment worth making. Regardless, it is important that your breathing valves are approved according to the EN250A standard so that they are approved for use in cold water.

Snakes

Hoses on a diving valve set generally have a recommended lifespan of five years. We have a wide selection of Miflex and Hollis hoses for breathing valves.

Dive computer

In an app-based world where technology and seamless data transfer matter, it may be wise to invest in a dive computer that has bluetooth support and an app for logging dives, updating firmware and similar functions. In practical terms, it is a good plan to emphasize features such as LED screen, and support for the type of diving you would like to do over the next five years. As a bare minimum, a dive computer should support nitrox. We have some of the market's most popular computers from Shearwater, Garmin and Oceanic.

Bottle

In Norway, steel bottles are recommended as the primary bottle due to their negative buoyancy properties. We have a wide selection of Eurocylinder and MES bottles in steel and aluminium. See our selection here.
