Here is a video and photo series showing how to fit new fin blades to your foot pockets :)
1. Before you start, have this ready:
All screws, parts and clips that belong to the foot pocket. You also need two screwdrivers (flat and star), drill with 7.5mm drill bit, water-based lubricant, vaseline or similar. And of course your new fin blades.
2. Apply a thin layer of lubricant or vaseline to the opening in the foot pocket where you will push in the new fin blade.
3. Press the fin blade hard and evenly into the front pocket. Make sure it is pressed all the way in, and maintain some back pressure throughout the assembly so that the fin blade does not move out of the foot pocket.
4. Roll the arms on the foot pocket. A good angle on the arm causes the slot to open up, making it easier to get the arm to gape over the bar on the fin blade.
5. Attach clips to the end of the arms using a flat screwdriver. Place the clip on one side and use the flat screwdriver to flip the clip over the rubber arm of the foot pocket.
6. Drill holes through the fin blade where the screws are to be attached. If you're lucky, you have a really good foot pocket that shows exactly where the holes should be, if not, you can mark with a marker. Drill holes and put brackets and screws in place.
7. Put the brackets and screws in place.
8. Enjoy your self-assembled new wind sub fins!
