Gear Aid Zipper Cleaner and Lubricant does exactly what the name suggests and can be used to clean and lubricate a number of different types of zippers. The product was previously called McNett Zip Care, and still comes in a 60ml bottle with a small brush on top.
Zipper Lubricant is designed to remove sand, dirt, salt deposits and grime that can quickly cause the zipper to harden, lock or become almost impossible to move. Unlike a normal zip wax, this formula is specially made to really clean the zip in depth and the handy brush gets everything away effectively.
After cleaning, the product leaves a protective and lubricating film (layer) on the zip. This protects against corrosion, among other things. So just as the product name suggests, Gear Aid Zipper Cleaner and Lubricant both cleans and lubricates.
Use it regularly to keep zippers a breeze to use. This also saves you from expensive repairs. Can be used on all types of zips, but is particularly good on metal zips found on dry suits, paddling suits, dry bags, tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks, boat covers, and all types of outdoor equipment that comes into contact with water.
