🎣 Biggest of the year 2026

This is about the joy of the fish, not the chase for the biggest. We hunt for food and experiences — and then the biggest fish deserve a little extra attention.

The informal annual competition: the biggest fish of each species, taken straight from this year's trip reports. Log the weight of your catch and you're in — the leader wears the 🥇 badge on their diver page until someone beats it. The list resets every new year.

The official Norwegian spearfishing record list, kept by Frivannsliv since the early 2000s. Every record is documented and approved by the jury before it is listed.
