Privacy — FridykkerloggenFridykkerloggen is run by Frivannsliv AS. This page explains what we store and why when you share trip reports.
You can follow divers and dive sites to collect their new trip reports under the bell icon. Who follows whom is private: only the number of followers is shown on a profile or dive site — never the list. You can unfollow at any time on the diver's or site's page, and everything you follow is deleted with your account.
The pin is shown exactly where you place it — so if you want to keep a spot secret, simply place the pin approximately. Hidden GPS metadata in uploaded photos is always removed automatically, so your photos never reveal the exact position.
Your reports and profile are shown in Fridykkerloggen at frivannsliv.no. Content you publish may also be shared in Frivannsliv's own channels where Fridykkerloggen content is featured — such as social media and newsletters. Such sharing never shows more than what is already public in the app, and always respects your chosen position precision. We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
Necessary cookies (login, language and your cookie choice) are always used. Marketing and analytics pixels from Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Snapchat are only loaded if you accept them in the cookie banner — they help us understand usage and show relevant content in Frivannsliv's channels. You can change your choice at any time:
You can edit and delete your own reports at any time under “My trips”, and edit your profile under “My profile”. For full deletion of everything we have stored about you, or for data access, contact us at post@frivannsliv.no — we'll respond within 30 days.
